Specialization - Nautical industry and sailing
Well before creating her business, Miranda Joubioux was already translating yacht race press releases for a web agency based in Vannes, Morbihan (Brittany).
Since then, she has maintained this skill, working for boatyards such as Bénéteau, Fountaine Pajot and many others, but also for communications agencies specialising in the field of sport, such as Windreport, and has kept contact with the communications offices of well known skippers.
Over the years, she has extended her technical vocabulary and her marketing writing skills. She now translates press releases, press packs, internet and extranet sites, bilingual magazines of well-known boat yards, brochures, visuals, etc.
Videos can be added to these media. However, in this instance, she not only translates but adapts her translations to given time slots, subtitling these films for their publication online.
Outside her skills as a translator of the written word, she interprets from French to English at nautical events.
